On October 6th, 2016, at 3:00 AM, LEL International participated in a critical equipment removal project at a children’s hospital in downtown Dallas, Texas. Given the hospital’s sensitive environment, precision and efficiency were paramount. With LEL International sales rep Sam Miller coordinating alongside Davis Crane Service, the operation was carefully planned to minimize disruption. The team swiftly disconnected and secured the equipment, ensuring safe and damage-free removal. In under an hour, they successfully lifted the unit, hoisted it across the street with a specialized crane.

Due to the crane’s spatial needs, one of the two eastbound lanes had to be shut down. To minimize disruption, the removal took place in the early morning hours, reducing traffic and ensuring a safer workspace for the crew. The unit removed, a 350kW Cummins Generator, was retired from the hospital and sold to Woodstock Power, a trusted partner of LEL International.
