Efficient Equipment Removal in Downtown Dallas

On October 6th, 2016, at 3:00 AM, LEL participated in an equipment removal project at a children’s hospital in downtown Dallas, Texas. With LEL International sales rep Sam Miller and Davis Crane Service on-site, the project was executed quickly and efficiently. In under an hour, the team removed the equipment from its setting, hoisted it across the street, secured it to a flatbed, and sent it on its way.

Due to the crane’s spatial needs, one of the two eastbound lanes had to be shut down. To minimize disruption, the removal took place in the early morning hours, reducing traffic and ensuring a safer workspace for the crew. The unit removed, a 350kW Cummins Generator, was retired from the hospital and sold to Woodstock Power, a trusted partner of LEL International.
